A break-in at the office of Free National Movement (FNM) candidate for Fox Hill, Dr. Nicholas Fox, has sparked concern among supporters and raised questions about possible political motivations behind the act.
The incident occurred sometime late Monday night or early Tuesday morning at the Collins Avenue office. Vandals gained entry by cutting a hole in the ceiling, after which they rummaged through the premises, yanking open desk drawers and scattering documents across the floor.
No one was injured, and it is still unclear whether anything was stolen.
Dr. Fox, a medical professional and first-time candidate, was deeply disturbed by the incident.
Supporters of Dr. Fox believe the break-in may be politically motivated, pointing to his recent decision to enter frontline politics.
