Toddler drowns in bucket of water

A one-year-old boy drowned in a bucket of water Saturday morning.

The tragedy unfolded around 11am at a home in Gambier.

The toddler was at home with his older sister and aunt when he went into a bathroom without his guardians noticing.

That’s when he reportedly slipped and fell in a bucket of water.

The toddler was pronounced dead at Doctors Hospital on Blake Road after resuscitation efforts failed.
