Prominent pastor appointed Water and Sewerage Corporation Exec. Chairman

The Water and Sewerage Corporation (WSC) has announced the appointment of Reverend Trajean Jadorette as its new Executive Chairman.

The move comes in the wake of the controversial resignation of Sylvanus Petty, who stepped down after facing scrutiny over the awarding of a WSC contract to his daughter.

In a statement released by WSC, the corporation expressed enthusiasm about Reverend Jadorette's appointment: "We are thrilled to introduce our Executive Chairman, Reverend Trajean Jadorette, at the Water and Sewerage Corporation! A decorated theologian and respected community leader, Reverend Jadorette brings a wealth of experience and passion to our team."

Reverend Jadorette is currently the Senior Pastor of New Covenant Baptist Church and has a notable educational background, holding degrees in Theology and Social Science.

The statement highlighted his extensive contributions to the Baptist community and his national service roles, including being a reservist with the Royal Bahamas Police Force and a Justice of the Peace.

Prime Minister Philip Davis requested Petty's resignation, and now the corporation is pinning its hopes on Reverend Jadorette to lead the way.

"As Executive Chairman, Reverend Jadorette is ready to steer us towards a brighter future. We are confident that his vision, leadership, and commitment to service will guide us in providing reliable and sustainable water solutions for our community," stated WSC.
