Superintendent of Police Kyle Capron was charged in the Magistrates Court on Monday with the rape of a 33-year-old woman.

The alleged incident occurred on October 23.

The woman filed a complaint with law enforcement last Wednesday, prompting an investigation that led to Capron’s arrest.

During his court appearance before Chief Magistrate Roberto Reckley, Capron was not required to enter a plea to the charge.

He has been remanded to prison and must apply for bail in the Supreme Court.

His next court date is scheduled for March 2, 2025, when he will receive the voluntary bill of indictment papers.
