A policeman accused of plotting to kill his romantic rival is closer to learning his fate.

A jury was today selected in the case of Corporal Darren Davis and Stephon Davis and prosecutors will open their case this week.

Prosecutors allege that the cousins planned the murder of Jayson Whitfield (pictured).

He was found shot dead in a government-issued car in Garden Hills on December 3, 2022.

The accused have pleaded not guilty and remain on bail.
