Golfers robbed at Baha Mar course in two separate incidents

The Gallery

Gunmen robbed golfers playing on Baha Mar’s Royal Blue golf course in two separate incidents.

Both robberies happened over the weekend.

During the first incident, armed robbers emerged from bushes surrounding the golf course and robbed a golfer and his daughter while they were playing between the 9th and 10th holes.

The second incident also involved two men who robbed golfers as they were playing on the 18-hole golf course.

It is unclear if both robberies are believed to be committed by the same culprits.

This is not the first time golfers at Royal Blue have been targeted by criminals, raising serious questions about the security of players.

Last April, a group of tourists was robbed of cash, credit cards and jewelry on Baha Mar’s golf course.

The group, which included Canadians, was held up near the 15th hole by a lone gunman, who escaped with around $1,600 in cash along with credit cards and jewelry.
