Former NIB boss Algernon Cargill robbed at gunpoint

Former Director of Aviation Algernon Cargill was robbed at gunpoint in Pinewood Gardens, according to sources.

After pulling a gun on Cargill and forcing him to get out of the vehicle, the gunman took off in his car, leaving Cargill shaken and stranded.

The incident happened so quickly, the former National Insurance Board Director didn’t have a chance to grab his cellphone, which was left in the vehicle. It was unclear if the culprit robbed him of any other valuables before escaping.

Authorities were trying to track the cellphone in order to locate and recover the vehicle.
