A mega donor for the FNM got off scot-free after he admitted to threatening to feed another man to the sharks.
Craig Roberts, 69, a financial supporter of Prime Minister Hubert Minnis and the FNM was given an absolute discharge after he owned up to making the mafia-like threat to Jason Baran.
Under Minnis’s regime, the poor were sent to jail for selling coconuts on the side of the street.
Others were fined $500 for leaving home without a government-issued ID.
People now have criminal records for breaking curfew.
But a rich man got no punishment for telling a man he would cut him up, bloody the water and feed him to the sharks.
Roberts owns the Bahama Beach Club in Treasure Cay, Abaco.
Minnis continues to protect his wealthy friends and oppress the poor.
