WSC General Manager placed on paid leave

Chairman of the Water and Sewerage Corporation Sylvanus Petty has announced that the Board of Directors in consultation with the Minister of Works and Utilities have placed General Manager, Mr. Elwood Donaldson on paid Administrative Leave for an initial period effective immediately and continuing up to Monday 28th February, 2022.


Consequently, Mr. Robert Deal has been appointed to the Acting General Manager position in the interim.


Additionally, in the interim, the Board has appointed the following persons to Acting positions to the Executive Management Team (EXCOM) effective immediately to facilitate the smooth operations of the Corporation during this period: Mr. Cyprian Gibson, Acting Deputy General Manager; Mr. Gregory Stubbs, Acting Assistant GM/ Family Island Division(AGM/FID); Mrs. Dian Saunders-Adderley, AGM/Internal Control and Compliance/Risk &

Legal; Mrs. Loretta Butler-Turner, Advisor/Consultant to the Board; and Mr. Anthony Bostwick, Special Projects Manager/Consultant/Advisor to the Chairman's Office.


Police vehicles were seen outside Water and Sewerage headquarters on Monday as Donaldson was allowed to get his belongings and leave the property.
