A 31-year-old man is facing a murder charge after police say he killed a man in a shooting last month.
Kenneth Cummings, of Samson Street, Nassau Village is accused of the murder of Vincent Knowles Jr.
Police said a gunman emerged from a car and fatally shot the 26-year-old as he walked along Forbes Street, Nassau Village on December 8.
Cummings was not required to enter a plea to the murder charge when he made his initial court appearance before Deputy Chief Magistrate Andrew Forbes.
Police issued a wanted poster for Cummings on January 5.
Cummings is due back in court next month to receive a voluntary bill of indictment that will fast-track the case to the Supreme Court.
