Vandals plastered a poster of Free National Movement (FNM) candidate for Seabreeze Trevania Clarke-Hall over an existing display featuring Progressive Liberal Party (PLP) incumbent Leslia Miller-Brice and Prime Minister Philip Davis.

The incident drew criticism from residents and party supporters who described the act as disrespectful and unnecessary during an already competitive election season.

The billboard, prominently positioned along a main thoroughfare in eastern New Providence, originally displayed images of Miller-Brice and Davis as part of the PLP’s campaign visibility efforts in the area. By early morning, however, the display had been partially obscured by Clarke-Hall’s campaign poster, which was affixed directly in the center.

A PLP supporter removed the poster by peeling it from the billboard, restoring the original campaign display.

Observers expressed concern that the act of vandalism—and the subsequent removal—highlight growing tensions between rival supporters on the campaign trail. Several residents said the move crossed a line.

Despite the incident, Miller-Brice is widely expected to retain her seat in Seabreeze. The incumbent has remained highly visible throughout the constituency over the past four years.
