Three men were killed in three separate incidents on New Providence between Sunday night and Monday morning.
In the most recent incident, a man was shot and killed on Gilbert Street in the Kennedy Subdivision around 4am Monday. His body was found lying on the ground. Residents called an ambulance but Emergency Medical Services personnel pronounced the victim dead on the scene.
On Sunday night, after 8:00 p.m., a man’s body was found slumped over in a white bus with apparent gunshot wounds at the intersection of Sapodilla and Willow Tree Street, Pinewood Gardens. He was pronounced dead on on the scene.
As homicide detectives investigated the Pinewood Gardens murder, they received reports of an another murder off Kemp Road.
A man’s body was found slouched over in a black vehicle with gunshot wounds as residents cried out in the streets over another life lost in their community.
Three men were killed in New Providence in under 12 hours and five people have been murdered in the Bahamas in four days.
