Police have charged a suspect in a shooting that killed one and injured two others at Peter Street.
Omar Daniels, 20, of Windsor Lane, faced a charge of murder and attempted murder when he appeared before Senior Magistrate Derence Rolle-Davis.
Prosecutors say Daniels was one of two gunmen who opened fire on a group of people standing in front of a home around 7pm on November 4.
Police said two gunmen emerged from a Japanese car and opened fire.
Dwight Williams Jr, 17, died on the scene. Laurent Harrison and Kareem Maynard were rushed to hospital for treatment of gunshot injuries.
Daniels was not required to enter pleas to the charges and was remanded into custody until February 23.
Outside court, Daniels’ family shouted words of encouragement.
They told him to hold up his head as he had done nothing wrong
