A stripper has been accused of setting up a client to be robbed.
Prosecutors allege that Mya Smith, 18, arranged to meet Delgado Culmer at a motel on St Alban’s Drive on September 10.
Smith’s boyfriend, Demetrius Bastian, 19, (in striped shirt) and Kelito Johnson, 18, allegedly beat up Culmer in the motel room and robbed him of $3,000 and a silver chain, valued at $150.
Smith and her alleged accomplices appeared before Magistrate Samuel McKinney today charged with robbery and receiving.
They pleaded not guilty to the charges and return to court on October 27 for trial.
They’ll remain in custody until then, if they’re not freed on bail by a Supreme Court judge.
