Second Bahamian murderer arrested in United States

A Bahamian man, who fled the country two years ago after killing a man in front of his children, was arrested in the United States and deported to The Bahamas.

Kyle Hepburn went on the lam after he allegedly killed taxi driver Wilton Brown in front of his home in June 2018.

Brown pulled up to his Refuge Court home in the Hollywood Subdivision, off Cowpen Road, where a car pulled up behind him on a Saturday night.

The gunman got out of his vehicle and demanded cash before shooting Brown and driving off.

Brown's children were inside his car at the time.

Hepburn, who has been wanted for two years, was caught in the United States. He was deported from the U. S. on October 6, 2020.

He will be charged with the taxi driver’s murder in the Magistrates Court

on Monday at 12pm.

His arrest comes less than a week after another Bahamian fugitive, Jermaine Scott, was captured in the U. S. and deported to The Bahamas, where he was charged with the 2013 murder of his girlfriend’s brother.
