Opposition leader participates in post Hurricane aerial observation




Leader of the Opposition Philip Brave Davis accepted the invitation of the United States Government to participate in a joint aerial observation with Prime Minister Dr. Hubert Minnis of islands affected by Hurricane Isaias.


The areas covered today were limited due to deteriorating weather conditions. Officials flew over Andros and the Berry Islands.


Government and opposition leaders held discussions with Kevin Michael O'Reilly, US Deputy Assistant Secretary, Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs before boarding an aircraft at Odyssey Aviation.


The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) issued the all clear for The Bahamas at 9am today.
