Wilchcombe’s political career began in 2002 when he was first elected to the House of Assembly under the Christie administration. Over the years, he served three consecutive terms in Parliament and held notable positions, including Minister of Tourism, before losing his seat in the 2017 general election.
His political journey took a turn in September 2021 when he successfully reclaimed his position as MP for West Grand Bahama and Bimini.
