No water in Central Pines, Abaco

The people of Central Pines, Abaco say the storm-ravaged community has been without water supply for nearly a week.

They are pleading with the relevant government agencies to step in and fix the problem.

“The water in Central Pines has been off for the past five or six days now and its frustrating people,” said a fed up resident. “The water in Marsh Harbour, Abaco sucks.”

Residents say the supervisor at the water station seems to have no idea what the problem is.

“They are telling the public that BPL is the problem,” said another resident.

The return to normalcy has been an uphill battle for Abaco residents who endured the monstrous Hurricane Dorian in September. Progress on the island has been slow. Nine months later, electricity has not been restored to some areas.
