A Royal Bahamas Defence Force marine is facing charges after being accused of pulling a handgun on a couple.
Demeko Simms, 24, denied two counts of assault with a deadly weapon at his arraignment before Magistrate Samuel McKinney today.
Simms allegedly went to Johnnica Hall’s Key West Street home on December 20 and pulled a gun on her and her boyfriend Aaron Gibson.
Simms is due to appear in court on January 26 for the start of his trial. He has been freed on $7,500 bail with two sureties. He has to report to the Carmichael Road Police Station as a bail condition.
