A gunman shot and killed a man in front of his home on Hawthorne Road in the area of Persis Rodgers Home for the Aged shortly after 9pm Sunday.
The victim is believed to be between ages 40 and 50, according to RBPF Press Liaison Officer Supt. Audley Peters.
He said when police arrived on the murder scene, they met the victim lying dead on the ground with multiple gunshot wounds.
The victim has not yet been identified.
One person has been taken into custody and is assisting police with their investigation, according to Peters.
