Man Dies Following Construction Site Incident Off Sandilands Village Road

Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal incident at a construction site off Sandilands Village Road on Tuesday.

According to initial reports, officers responded to the scene after receiving information that a male worker had fallen while on the job site. Emergency personnel attended the location, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities have not yet released the victim's identity, pending notification of next of kin.

The incident has renewed concerns about workplace safety. Labour officials have previously expressed alarm over a number of incidents on job sites in recent months, several of which have resulted in fatalities.

Police have launched an investigation to determine the exact circumstances that led to the man's death.

The tragedy marks the second fatal incident reported today. Earlier, a worker was fatally struck by a vehicle along John F. Kennedy Drive.
