A man accused of beating a teenage girl to death has been charged with murder.
Fred Lloyd, 24, is accused of the January 18 death of 19-year-old Kendise Smith.
She was found dead through a track road off Marshall Road with her head bashed in.
Lloyd did not have to enter a plea to the charge when he appeared before Chief Magistrate Joyann Ferguson-Pratt today.
He has been denied bail and returns to court on March 25.
