A Rupert Dean Lane man accused of a drive-by shooting that killed one man and seriously injured another has been charged.
Prosecutors say Lecardo Fredrix, 26, opened fire on two men from a Nissan Cube as they stood outside a home on Dumping Ground Corner on October 16.
Shooting victims Devon Brown and Javon Rolle were rushed to hospital, but Brown died on arrival.
Fredrix was not required to enter pleas to charges of murder and attempted murder when he appeared before Magistrate Ambrose Armbrister today.
Fredrix returns to court on December 1 and will remain in jail unless he’s granted bail.
