34-year-old Oral Roberts was shot and killed in Fox Hill on Tuesday night. The shooting has raised questions as residents claim the shooters were traveling in a blue car with government-issued license plates.

Roberts, who had been under electronic monitoring, was charged last year in connection with a $1 million heist.

Roberts and his co-defendant, Akeil Holmes, were accused of breaking into a security vehicle and stealing $1,475,000 on November 2.

Roberts’ family contends that he was not known to law enforcement. They also allege that police pulled him in for questioning last week and he was warned that if he ever saw a police vehicle do not stop.

His murder follows the earlier killings of two individuals allegedly linked to the same heist.
