Man arrested over viral video of assault


A 41-year-old male has been arrested in connection with a viral video that shows the assault of a woman on Poinciana Avenue near Baillou Hill Road.

The arrest was made on Thursday after authorities identified the suspect following an investigation into the incident.

According to preliminary reports, the assault took place on Tuesday around 2:00 p.m. The victim was reportedly attacked by an unknown man shortly after she exited a jitney bus.
