Man accused of trying to kill baby mama

A man accused of trying to kill his son’s mother has been remanded to prison.

Prosecutors say Stephan Oliver, 30, of New Hope Gardens, stabbed 21- year-old Phillipa Farrington multiple times on July 17.

Farrington remains in serious condition in hospital.

Oliver didn’t have to enter a plea to the attempted murder charge when he appeared before Chief Magistrate Joyann Ferguson-Pratt today.

She denied him bail and adjourned the matter to November 4.
