Prosecutors have accused a man of raping a teen and recording the act.
Mark Nathaniel Strachan, 18, of Honey Cooper Lane, off Carmichael Road, is accused of violating the 14-year-old girl from January 1 through April 30.
What’s more, police allegedly found videos of Strachan raping the child.
He was not required to enter pleas to charges of unlawful sexual intercourse and child pornography at his initial court appearance before Deputy Chief Magistrate Andrew Forbes on Monday.
Strachan has been denied bail and returns to court on November 2.
