Male babysitter accused of molesting child in his care

A babysitter is accused of sexually abusing a young girl left in his care.

Prosecutors allege that 18-year-old Afream Brown raped an eight-year-old girl last month.

Brown, a Jamaican, did not have to enter pleas to charges of unlawful sexual intercourse when he appeared before Magistrate Shaka Serville today.

He was denied bail and returns to court on May 3.
