A man who claims to be HIV positive has been remanded to prison over allegations that he repeatedly had sex with an underage teen.
Prosecutors say that Godfrey Gray, 39, of Fritz Lane, began an illicit sexual relationship with the child in October when she was 13.
The sexual relationship allegedly continued until December 5.
Gray’s alleged victim is now 14.
Gray was not required to enter pleas to the charges when he appeared before Chief Magistrate Joyann Ferguson-Pratt on Thursday.
He was denied bail and returns to court on April 21.
Back in June, Gray pleaded guilty to calling a former fling’s husband and telling him she had been exposed to HIV during their affair.
Gray says he’s HIV-positive. However, his former mistress had tested negative when she made the complaint.
Gray was granted a conditional discharge.
