Police arrested a grieving man at the scene of his brother's murder.

Officers dragged Mario"Ridge" Brown away from the scene of the deadly mass shooting at Jerome Avenue and Chesapeake Road on April 15 after he broke through crime scene tape.

Brown's brother, Darnarrio Saunders, was among six men murdered after hit men ambushed their car soon after they were released from police custody.

Other victims of the shooting were: Renardo "Crack Teeth" Bastian, Travis Cooper, Maurice Pinder, Kendal Lord and Delano Smith. Smith's 19-year-old girlfriend and his two-year-old daughter were also critically injured.

Prosecutors said Brown entered the restricted crime scene in an attempt to see his little brother and refused to leave. He put up a struggle as officers forcibly removed him.

Brown pleaded guilty to disorderly behaviour and resisting arrest at his arraignment before Senior Magistrate Derence Rolle-Davis.

Given the extenuating circumstances, the magistrate placed Brown on probation for three months. A breach of probation will result in a $300 fine.
