Elderly woman reported missing found dead

The body of an elderly woman who was reported missing Monday morning was found floating in a pond at the rear of the South Ocean Golf Course this afternoon.

The discovery was made around 1pm. No foul play is suspected.

71-year-old Alberta Russell was last seen yesterday at 8:30am.

She lived on St. Andrew’s Drive, South Ocean Village.
