Dr. Nigel Lewis named FNM National Election Coordinator

In the midst of an unprecedented health and economic crisis that has claimed 67 Bahamian lives and countless Bahamian jobs, the governing Free National Movement is busy preparing for the 2022 General Election.

Dr. Nigel Lewis has been named FNM National Election Coordinator. The dentist and failed North Andros Candidate for the FNM has been tasked with securing the FNM another general election victory.

However, some party members fear that is a tall order as FNM supporters on storm-ravaged Abaco are disappointed in the Minnis Administration, which has failed to help rebuild their homes and keep the island safe from thieves who are robbing residents of building supplies almost daily.

Many Bahamians around the country are also fed up with Prime Minister Hubert Minnis' dictatorial approach to the Covid-19 crisis, implementing strict measures at a moment's notice and putting employees out of work.

On Inagua, work is underway at the FNM office, getting it battle ready. Inagua residents say they have passed the building on several occasions and spotted workers fixing up the inside of the small building, which has been painted in party colors.
