Covid-19 kills 37-year-old man




A 37 year old man diagnosed with COVID-19 died in New Providence today.


Investigations are being conducted into the details of his death. The death toll from the virus now stands at 18. However, health officials are investigating several other deaths to determine if they are COVID-related.


The Ministry of Health announced today that there are 63 additional confirmed cases of COVID-19.


This brings the total number of confirmed cases to 1315.


45 people tested positive in New Providence, five tested positive in Grand Bahama and 13 pending.


There have been 717 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in New Providence, 461 confirmed cases in Grand Bahama, 45 confirmed cases in Bimini, 44 confirmed cases in Abaco, 14 confirmed cases in the Berry Islands, 8 confirmed cases in Cat Island, 5 confirmed cases in Exuma, two confirmed cases in Inagua, one confirmed case in Eleuthera and Andros and 17 pending cases.
