A terrifying discovery for beachgoers on Goodman’s Bay beach on Tuesday morning after a body was discovered.
Eyewitnesses on the scene say the body was found in a silver car.
Police showed up moments ago and the person was pronounced dead. It is unclear what happened and if foul play is suspected.
Crime scene investigators were seen inspecting a silver vehicle.
The Gallery also spotted senior officers of the Bahamas Department of Corrections on the scene, which suggests it may be a colleague of theirs. However, this has not been confirmed by police.
Several police officers in khaki were also in the parking lot surrounding the body.
Police have launched an investigation.
