The 10-year-old girl who was shot along with two men during a triple shooting incident off Iguana Way, last month, died in hospital this morning.
Police have identified the young victim as Lorencia Simmons Walkes.
On May 29, gunmen exited a vehicle and opened fire on a group of people standing on a corner near Iguana Way, killing a man and seriously injuring the 10-year-old and another man.
Another man got injured as he ran for his life.
According to the police report, the shooters pulled up in a gold vehicle around 1 pm, walked towards the group and started firing, hitting three people. One man died on the scene.
The little girl was taken to hospital in serious condition while the third victim was said to be in stable condition at the time.
