The police has released a statement informing the public that Lorechia Simmons Walkes, the 10 year old girl who was shot on May 29th off Iguana Way has died from her injuries.
She was shot along with two others when three armed individuals emereged from a gold Cecile and open fire on them. Two others were shot in this incident, one of them died on the scene. Little Lorencia and the other victim were fighting for their lives until she passed away today.
One of the suspects was caught fleeing scene with his own gunshot wounds. Police have confirmed that investigations are still ongoing.
