Thieves steal businessman’s boat engines

A local businessman is offering a $10,000 reward for the recovery of two stolen boat engines.

In the dead of night, thieves got off with the pricy boat engines, the Gallery has been informed.

Two Yamaha 300 HP engines, worth $40,000, were stolen off of a white and red Scarab center console.

They were believed to be taken around 1am on Thursday from TPA Marina, just east of the eastern Paradise Island bridge.

Anyone with information on the stolen engines is asked to call 422-1703.

The engine theft comes weeks after police on Grand Bahama rescued two boat thieves after the vessel they allegedly stole began drifting in waters near West End.
