Thieves steal boat from Marathon home

Thieves riding in a dark-colored Ford F-150 truck pulled into a yard in Marathon Estates and stole a 35-foot boat around 7:30 Wednesday night.

“King’s Choice” is a white Malargo with two 300 HP Yamaha engines.

Neighbors reported seeing the boat being pulled out of the yard on a trailer by a pickup truck but didn’t think anything of it until the owner came out and discovered the boat was gone.

The owner is now urging the public to be on the lookout for the stolen boat and contact police immediately if they spot the vessel.
