Gunmen opened fire on two men in Elizabeth Estates on Tuesday evening, killing one of them.
According to police, as the two victims were approaching a home on Commonwealth Boulevard after 7 pm Tuesday, a vehicle pulled up behind them and two gunmen jumped out, shooting both men in the torso.
The driver of a private vehicle left the scene to take the two victims to hospital. However, they noticed an ambulance on the Eastern Road and flagged it down.
Emergency Medical Services personnel treated the two men but one of them died.
The murder victim is believed to be in his late thirties.
