COVID outbreak after illegal party at DPP’s Office

Several lawyers at the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP) contracted COVID-19 after attending a birthday party at the office.

The super-spreader event violated COVID-19 protocols that limit social gatherings to five attendees provided they are all vaccinated.

Ironically, the illegal party was held at the country’s top legal office.

Meanwhile, police have arrested ordinary citizens for breaking COVID-19 restrictions by getting water from the public pump during curfew hours.
