Attorney Declares Innocence as Housewife Awaits Trial for Alleged Murder Plot

In a bold declaration of innocence, attorney Owen Wells passionately asserted that his client, Lindsay Shiver, is wrongly accused of plotting the murder of her estranged husband, Robert Shiver.

During a case management hearing today, Wells expressed confidence in the evidence that he believes will ultimately exonerate Lindsay.

"Lindsay is innocent, and the evidence will clearly demonstrate her innocence. She continues to face the legal process with complete transparency and honesty," Wells proclaimed, emphasizing Lindsay's eagerness to be reunited with her young children after months of separation.

Accompanied by Attorney Lilniquie Grant in court, the legal team for Shiver attended the hearing, where the listing judge assigned trial dates of March 4th to 8th, 2024.

A pre-trial review is scheduled for February 21st, 2024, with a further case management hearing on January 31st, 2024.

During the proceedings, Wells informed the court of his intention to apply for a variation of Lindsay's bail conditions.

The judge set a hearing date for December 13 at 10:00 am to address this matter.

Shiver, 36, was released on $100,000 cash bail in August after being accused of conspiring with Terrance Bethel, 28, and Faron Newbold Jr., 29, to murder her husband on Abaco.

Prosecutors allege that on July 16, the trio devised a plan to carry out the act.

As the legal battle unfolds, Lindsay Shiver maintains her faith in the integrity of the Bahamian justice system and vows to continue cooperating fully in her quest for justice.
