A group of tourists were left shaken after being robbed of cash, credit cards and jewelry on Baha Mar’s golf course on Tuesday.
Witnesses told the Gallery, the group, which included Canada nationals, was enjoying a friendly round of golf when they were held up near the 15th hole by a lone gunman.
The armed bandit escaped with around $1,600 in cash along with credit cards and jewelry.
The mega resort, located on West Bay Street, appears to be keeping the matter under wraps to avoid drawing attention to what is largely viewed as an exclusive escape for the rich.
However, the ordeal has frightened other golfers who question their own safety while visiting Baha mar’s golf course to play a sport seen as a means of refuge and relaxation.
