POLICE ARREST TEEN FOR NO ID

As the country moves closer to becoming a police state, officers arrested a young man for leaving home without a government-issued ID.

The arresting officers were enforcing a mandate by Prime Minister Dr. Hubert Minnis, which subjects citizens to arrest for traveling without identification.

This requirement is part of the emergency powers order in response to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Police arrested Larry Stockdale Jr, 19, in Pinewood Gardens, at 9:30pm on October 1 because he wasn’t wearing a mask.

He told the deputy chief magistrate that he had the mask in his hand and wasn’t wearing it because no one else was around.

Stockdale said he didn’t know that it was illegal not to carry an ID.

The court advised Stockdale to inform himself of the laws and gave him a conditional discharge.

In his response to the potentially deadly coronavirus, it appears the competent authority has attacked democracy instead of the coronavirus.
