A 55-year-old man was killed shortly after 5:00 a.m. Monday during a shooting incident that occurred on Wilson Track.
The victim’s body was found in a single-story structure in the area.
Eyewitnesses say the victim heard a knock at his front door in the wee hours of the morning. As he attempted to open it, the door was pried open by a gunman who shot him in the head.
Emergency Medical Services visited the scene and pronounced the man dead.
This morning’s murder comes hours after another man was shot on Wilson Track.
Residents say a man was visiting his girlfriend around 8pm Sunday when gunshots rang out.
The man ran for cover and a bullet grazed his head. The victim was transported to the hospital, where he is in stable condition.
