Man charged with ‘half-man’s’ murder

Police have charged a suspect in last year’s murder of Kemp Road community leader Alfred Bastian Jr.

Dondre Williams, of Pinewood Gardens, is charged with the December 3, 2020.

He’s also accused of plotting Bastian’s murder with others on November 29, 2020.

Williams was not required to enter pleas to the charges when he appeared before Chief Magistrate Joyann Ferguson-Pratt.

He was denied bail and returns to court on November 29, 2021.
